What are your shipping rates?

Domestic (within the United States): Free standard shipping on all orders

International (outside the United States): Flat rate of $3.99 per order no matter the size

 

How long will it take for me to get my books from you (within the United States)?

Most books ship directly from the printer to you. From the time that they receive the order to delivery is about 2 weeks (14-16 days).

For smaller orders (1-2 books) we may have books in stock and ready to ship. In those cases, they are shipped directly to you and take about 1 week (6-9 days).

 

How long will it take for me to get my books from you (international shipping)?

International shipping takes about 3-4 weeks for delivery (20-25 days).

 

What countries do you ship internationally to?

Why does it take so long for your books to be delivered?

The print-on-demand printer Christian Bible Scholars uses can take up to 13 days for books to be printed. From there shipping times are normally 2-3 business days for books shipped within the continental United States. For Alaska and Hawaii, the shipping time is 3-7 business days. For international orders, the shipping time is between 7-12 business days.

 

Does it always take that long for me to receive my books?

No. Printing and shipping times do vary and we have had orders take less time than estimated here. The soonest we have had books arrive to our customers from the printer is 1 week.

 

Do you offer expedited shipping?

No. Currently our printer does not offer an option for us to expedite both the print and ship times in order for us to guarantee faster delivery.

 

Will I receive a delivery estimate when I place my order?

For any orders that are printed on demand, you can expect to receive a delivery estimate within 24 hours of placing your order. If we are shipping books directly to you, you will receive a tracking number within 1 business day.

 

It has been a week and I still haven't received a tracking number, where is it?

The printer can take up to 13 days to print your books. However, once the books have been shipped you will receive a tracking number and you can expect the books to arrive in 2-3 days from then.

 

I received your books in an Amazon.com box, but I ordered them from you. Why?

The print on demand books you receive from us are printed and shipped using the same printer as Amazon.

 

When I order books from you, who is the shipping carrier?

Books that are shipped within the United States directly from the printer, are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or Amazon's shipping services..

Books that are shipped directly from us to you are shipped via USPS.

 

What happens if I receive a book that was damaged during shipping?

Within 30 days of receiving the book, send an e-mail to Peter@ChristianBibleScholars.com describing the damage, and requesting a replacement. For all orders within the United States, a new book will be shipped to you and you should receive it in about 1 week (7 days). For international orders, books must be reprinted at the printer and sent to you again. So expect to see your replacement books within 3-4 weeks (20-25 days). Please hold onto the book until you receive the new one in case we need pictures.

 

Printing and book quality:

Who prints your books?

All of the books we send out are printed by Kindle Direct Publishing. They are the same printer as any paperback books produced and sold by Amazon. So whether you buy Learning the Bible with Martin Luther on Amazon.com or through us, the books are printed by the same company.

 

Who does a quality control check on your books?

If the books are shipped directly from the printer to you, then the books are checked by the printer.

If the books you receive are shipped directly by us, we double check the quality of the book before shipping it out to you.

 

What happens if I receive a defective book?

Within 30 days please e-mail Peter@ChristianBibleScholars.com describing how the book is defective. For orders shipped within the United States, a new book will be sent out to you and you will receive it in about 1 week (7 days). For international orders, books must be reprinted at the printer and sent to you again. So expect to see your replacement books within 3-4 weeks (20-25 days). Pictures may be requested, so hold onto the book until you receive the new one.

What are your shipping fees?

Merchandise on ChristianBibleScholars.com ships free within the United States. At this time, all merchandise (besides books) are not available to be shipped outside of the United States.

How long will it take for my items to ship?

Merchandise, besides books, are manufactured on demand are are shipped on demand. The amount of time it takes to manufacture and ship products varies from product to product.

 

Returns and replacements:

Do you offer returns?

Christian Bible Scholars, LLC does not offer returns on any of its products. Due to the size of our business, and how low our prices are, we simply do not have the infrastructure to process returns. Books offered on ChristianBibleScholars.com, like Learning the Bible with Martin Luther, can be purchased on Amazon.com. Amazon.com does offer returns if you are concerned you might want to return the book, but you will have to pay a higher price.

 

Do you offer replacements?

Yes! If you receive a product that is damaged during shipping or defective from the printer, please contact Peter@ChristianBibleScholars.com within 30 days of receiving the book. Please describe what is wrong with the item and if possible send pictures. For orders within the United States, we will send you a replacement item. Books are usually received within about 7 days. The production and shipping times for other items varies, but should take about as long as it took for you receive the initial item. For international book orders, books must be reprinted at the printer and sent to you again. So expect to see your replacement books within 3-4 weeks (20-25 days).

 

Why would you request pictures of items that are damaged or defective?

Sometimes the printer/manufacturer requests pictures in order for us to process your replacement item.

 

Will I need to return the damaged or defective item?

No. The damaged or defective item is yours and you may do whatever you want with it.
